let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

it finally snowed! and it snowed a lot too as i heard we got over eight inches! i was beginning to get worried since halloween came and went without a trace of snow and thanksgiving too. but finally ... i love the snow! :) i wish it snowed more here actually. i think we should move to monument, co where they get all the snow storms but when i suggested it to mason, he just laughed. i'll have to work on him. anyway...

i took anders out in the snow to see what he would think. i haven't been able to find snow pants for him yet so i put on a pair of lined pants that are 24 mo. and that seemed to work just fine. of course we were only outside for 90 seconds or so....

he was doing fine here... just curious about all the white stuff. i lost his mittens in washington d.c. so i didn't have anything for his hands and i felt bad. i need to get some more for him soon and i was hoping to find a pair of boots also.

and this is where he lost it. he wanted to crawl in it but couldn't manuver between his bulky coat and all the snow and then i think he realized that his fingers were freezing and that was it. it took a couple of minutes for him to calm down. then he wanted to go back outside again!
i want to take him sledding over the christmas holiday (assuming there will be snow) so hopefully that experience with snow will go better.
