i was so excited for andrew's birthday! well, other than that mild episode of depression i went through the night before due to disbelief that he was turning two... 
we blew up balloons and hung up some streamers so when we stood at the top of the stairs that morning, he got excited about all the decorations. it was very birthday festive which kind-of clashed with the christmas decorations, but that's ok!
and then he got excited about opening presents, which mason and i were very excited about! last year he didn't get it at all which was kind-of disappointing. but it's so exciting watching someone open a gift that you have carefully picked out! andrew loved opening his gifts and mason and i loved watching him!
now he has some tools, just like daddy!
this is how andrew colors on the coffee table... with his feet perched up on the couch! cracks me up!
we had a great morning, playing with gifts and spending time together. it was almost like christmas morning!

Jeez what a big kid he is. He is such a little boy now... no more baby-ness huh? Those are such cute pictures of him too.
