i hadn't planned on going back to craig after the reunion but when i heard that two of my sisters were both going to be visiting from out of state, i changed some plans around so andrew and i could go and visit. i was really glad that we did because, although exhausting, the trip was a lot of fun and it was neat to watch anders interact with his cousins.again i didn't get as many pics as i would have liked... i took two nearly dead batteries and no charger. oops!
but i did get the first day well documented. we went out to the ranch for a bonfire dinner so my dad got the horses out for a few quick rides.
for some reason anders was more timid of riding the horses this time. the first two times this summer he was fine but this time he was more nervous. i guess he just didn't want to ride because he wasn't scared of the horses at all from the ground! when we gave the horses some oats after the rides, anders was right there! in fact, he tried to feed it to them once he realized how much they liked it.

i LOVE this pic of my dad coming out of the barn with chloe and allie right there. it's even cooler in black & white. :) black & white has that effect on photos i think...

Good shots -- I think the picture of Dad with Chloe in the barn door is wall worthy. Oh, and Allie stole a diaper from Chloe that day:)
