sunday was a particularly busy day for us. day of rest... not quite! mason and i were asked to speak in our new ward and both of us also had to teach the third hour of church. mason just got called as the deacon's advisor in the young men's and i'm teaching one of the CTR 6 classes in primary. needless to say, it was a busy week trying to prepare 2 talks and 2 lessons. because we both had to teach the last hour, we decided to put andrew into nursery a few weeks early. it was something we had discussed with the bishopric when we were given the callings but we weren't sure if we would actually have to do it or not. but we did. and so we did.
i've been so excited about nursery because it's been more and more difficult to keep andrew entertained at church. we pretty much gave up getting anything out of sunday school long ago! but then on sunday, as mason and i walked to the nursery, i got a little sad. back to the baby stuff again i guess! but i could hardly believe that andrew was going to nursery!! i wanted to take pictures but i didn't want to draw attention to the fact that he's really not supposed to be there yet in case someone didn't agree.
so although i felt it was a monumental day, there was no celebration or big send off or anything. and andrew did great! mason stayed with him for the first hour and then left to teach his lesson. not a peep of complaint or a tear wanting his mama! they even sent us home with one of andrew's drawings, which was pratically blank since he hasn't quite caught the vision of coloring yet. but it's still going on the fridge!!

one of my favorite milestones...when the kids get old enough to go to nursery. :-) Paige actually really misses the Craig nursery.
it is such a bittersweet day! glad he handled it well
