a family hike

we decided to kick off the summer with a hike! well, actually the andrew's decided that and thankfully invited us along! we were worried we'd be rained out but actually the weather was perfect. the sun wasn't blaring down on us and we stayed plenty warm as we hiked.

my hair started getting curly because of all the humidity in the air. this is one of just a few pics of a "normal" andrew. we were joking with the andrew's; their cooper just sits and smiles for the camera, so photogenic! andrew somehow always manages to have some sort of scowl on his face. i'd say that he gets it from mason but we all know that's not true. but in this pic, he looks almost angelic!

i wimped out carrying andrew and had to let mason take over. my quads were screaming going over those rocks!

the misters. and what was andrew doing here?! i laughed my head off after i downloaded these.

we didn't realize it until we were pretty far up the trail, but andrew lost one of his shoes. thankfully everyone that we passed let us know that it was still down there. but of course we had to let him run around up top, even without a shoe. his sock got pretty gross.

the only time cooper scowls is when anders is in his bubble. he doesn't really like that, as you can see.
