change of plans

so we had a busy but fun weekend planned... we were going to have a mothers day lunch with mason's mom, grandma and aunt, we had a graduation party to go to, then i was supposed to teach in primary tomorrow (my new calling is teaching the CTR 6B class - i'm excited!!) and then we were going to enjoy sunday afternoon together as a family and celebrate mothers day.

notice that i'm using the past tense... now we're all sick. andrew had a slight cold but not too bad but then mason caught it or something else and he was sick most of the week. and i mean sick! i've never seen mason like that before! he spent most of his time in bed but had to suffer at work for a few days because of meetings, deadlines, etc. i've never known him so sleep so much! i was stunned! but i was feeling good and happy that for once i wasn't catching what everyone else had... until yesterday morning. i knew the second i work up that i had " it", whatever that is. and andrew was suddenly sick again/worse yesterday too. by 3:00 in the afternoon, when he woke up from his nap, we knew we had to take him in. he was coughing and wheezing and you could tell he was not happy! we were able to get an appointment and the doctor said that he has some type of an infection in his lungs. she doesn't think it's pneumonia but we're supposed to bring him in if his fever spikes at all. she gave him a breathing treatment at the office which seemed to help alot and then wrote us a script for albuterol. he doesn't like his breathing treatments much but we think it's helping. mason's starting to feel better too and i'm doing pretty good myself. i don't think i'm going to get it as bad as mason did (i say that thankfully and while crossing my fingers). i obviously feel well enough to blog!!

so anyway... our weekend plans now consist of movies, napping, and then probably some more movies. i guess it's kind-of fun to all be sick together! except of course for the fact that we're sick.
