we knew that things would go pretty fast when they asked mason to start as soon as the background check and drug testing were done (which will end up being the last week in september or the first week in october). but we had no idea how fast until we got home and met with our real estate agent. homes don't sell well during the months of november and december. that is about the worst time to have your house on the market. so.... we've got a little over six weeks to get it on the market, get it under contract and get it sold! thus all the rushing around.
here's our plan for right now (although it's been changing slightly from day to day): we've got to get the house packed, cleaned and staged for pictures on wednesday. the house goes on the market on thursday night and mason and i will be out of here on friday in time for an open house on saturday. we'll head back to vernal then to find housing there and so mason can do his drug test. after that... we're still trying to figure that out. :)
