we made it back from my folks house were we spent the christmas holiday with my family. we had a great time! it snowed a lot while we were there (which was very exciting!) and thankfully everyone was able to make it in and out without any troubles. we had a lot of fun cooking, watching movies, quilting (although we didn't get as much done as we'd hoped... we're just saving the rest for next time!), playing in the snow and playing games. there were only two downsides from the trip: i wasn't feeling the greatest and as a result, i let myself get a little moody and ornery at times (i'm sorry guys) and andrew caught a bad cold and pink eye. last night was pretty rough but he's doing much better tonight and hopefully he'll be back to normal by the weekend. once things settle down a bit i'll get the pics downloaded and posted. i think we got some good ones!
i am thankful for the time i was able to spend with my family and the memories that were made.
my dad read us 'A Christmas Dress for Ellen' by Thomas S. Monson on christmas eve. i was very touched! i'm thankful for the christmas season and the excitement and joy that it brings, as well as the opportunity to focus on our Savior and His love and sacrifice for us.

Where are the pictures? -- glad your Christmas was good albeit sad without the Hardings:)
