weekend getaway.... to craig! (ha, ha)

craig isn't too far from vail so we decided after mason's conference ended we would head over to craig and spend some time with melissa (my youngest sister) before she goes off to college in idaho. we won't get to see her until christmas {tear, sniffle} so we were glad that we took the opportunity.

saturday was beautiful (and hot!) and we first headed out to the ranch to visit my dad. it was andrew's first trip out to the ranch!

my dad asked us to take my grandpa some lunch as he was over in another field cutting hay. it was my first time driving the ranger my uncle bought. pretty fun!

he's got a bat in the cave as my sister would say...

we went and checked out my uncles pigs... they stunk! but it reminded me of when we used to complain to my dad about the sheep smell and he would say, it smells like money to me!

i don't think anders knew what to think about being put on a pig. he never cried but he wasn't laughing either. i can't wait until next summer. i think he'll get a real kick out of the animals... either that or he'll be scared to death... but hopefully he'll think it's fun!
