bear lake

we just got back from bear lake (on the utah/idaho border). it was a family reunion of sorts for mason's dad's family. it was a great trip and we had a great time together! we loved it there! it was SO beautiful! we hope we can go back here in the next couple of years. we didn't get as many pics as we would have liked since we forgot to recharge the battery in our camera before we left. oops! but we still got some good ones.

after the first night, andrew woke up with tons of bug bites. at first we thought they were just mosquito bites but they swelled up and started getting these blister/welt looking things on them. so we went and got some benadryl and they started going down not long after that. now we're thinking that he probably got bit by some deer flies. poor little guy. he didn't seem to be bothered by them though... we never caught him trying to itch.

we thought anders would be so excited to be in the lake... and he was ... except that never seemed to notice that he was in anything different than the bathtub! :)

last but not least, grammie and grampy with their grandchildren and great grandchildren. it was great to be together even if it did go by way too fast!

now we're off to vail for a work conference for mason and then a quick trip to craig. august is the busiest month of the whole summer for us! it's all super fun stuff though and we're enjoying being together as we're putting miles on the car. that's what they're for right?! :)
