Arizona

it's shaping up to be another busy summer! the day after anders' blessing, anders and i headed down to AZ with my mom, my grandmother and my youngest sister melissa. my other two sisters, stefanie and meagan and their children, met us at my grandmother's house in show low. we spent a few days there (were it was cool...) and then we headed down to stefanie's house in florence which is south west of phoenix.

here's anders and his cousin chloe who is only two months older than he is

chloe is very friendly... and anders just didn't know what to think!


at little introduction for my cute nieces... here are all four of my parents grandchildren: alison is on the left, she's 8 weeks old and the daughter of meagan & cody, then anders (yep, the only boy so far), then hayley who's 3 and her sister, chloe who is 8 months old, daughters of stefanie & riley.

isn't she precious?!? :) she's such a smiley, happy baby. i wanted to trade because she still sleeps a lot but meagan said no. understandable i suppose....

seriously though... i wouldn't trade him for the world! :)

hayley was SO cute with the babies. she was ready to address every need, cry or concern for them. she is such a great big sister and a great cousin too!

cute chloe started army crawling and clapping while we were there which was fun to watch!

just by chance, allie and chloe had matching outfits for church.

anders is starting to get some hair!!! enough for a tiny little mohawk!
p.s. i'm not sure why he always looks so surprised by the camera... you'd think he'd be getting used to it by now... oh well! :)

hayley had a blast swimming and playing with meagan and melissa! anders really enjoyed the pool too. hayley would splash him a little and he thought that was hilarious! i just didn't get any pictures of it unfortunately.




and anders took one of the best naps of the trip at the pool!

anders hasn't shown much interest in his feet but this particular day, he couldn't quit trying to suck his toes! he's trying to teethe too so i'm sure that had something to do with it.
