my favorite blessing

of all my blessings, and i must admit that i have many, my husband is my favorite! i don't want to get too gushy here but i know that my Heavenly Father loves me because he sent me such a wonderful husband! what a blessing he is in my life, what a strength and a support he is to me and i am so grateful that we finally found each other!


he's very excited about our baby and has already begun preparations on the nursery. it's a little small perhaps but it will be perfect for our little one! the walls were in bad shape after so many renters but mason has spackled and sanded and it will soon be ready for paint! we're going to wait on the painting portion until we find out if it's a girl or a boy because that will determine the color. that should be sometime in september...

we've already got a crib which is funny because it's generally one of the last things people purchase. we've been looking for a glider on craigslist.com and we came across a great crib for a great price. the selling point for mason was that it's made of solid wood. so we went and picked that up on saturday and they kindly offered to throw in a pack-and-play for an additional $25! so i'm not even in my second trimester yet and we're already hooked up as far as sleeping arrangements go! no glider yet but we have plenty of time! :)
